Internal communications · Employee engagement · Content strategy

Clear communication.
Measurable connection.

I lead communications that turn business priorities into useful, accessible experiences, from enterprise intranets and employee newsletters to frontline outreach and change communications.

I combine editorial judgment, audience insight, visual communication, and disciplined project leadership to help employees find what they need and understand why it matters.

01 / Selected work

Communication systems,
not isolated deliverables.

The strongest internal communications connect channels, clarify priorities, and make the employee experience easier to navigate.

Flagship case study · Intranet strategy and design

Town Square

Designing a centralized employee communications hub that brought news, events, benefits, tools, team resources, and frequently used links into one organized SharePoint experience.

The challenge

Employees needed a clearer, more useful home for company information, as well as one that supported both timely communications and self-service access to everyday resources.

My role

I led the project’s content architecture, page design, formatting, organization, launch communications, cross-functional coordination, and ongoing content management.

Result

Town Square reached 1,251 unique viewers and generated 45,458 visits within its first seven months.

Channel strategy · Editorial leadership

From inbox noise to a weekly rhythm

I led an internal email-consolidation strategy and launched Word Around Town, a weekly newsletter tailored by location and archived in a centralized communications library.

65% fewer internal emails while maintaining a reliable, audience-specific weekly communications cadence.

Deskless workforce · Employee listening

Reaching employees beyond the inbox

I led an on-site outreach initiative for fulfillment-center employees, gathering channel preferences and helping employees access Town Square from their phones.

112 SharePoint mobile activations, supported by employee feedback that informed the channel mix.

Change communications · Information design

Complex information, made usable.

I lead projects across formats, from technical change communications and internal guides to employee events and culture campaigns. Each piece is designed around the same question: what does the audience need to know or do next?

Strategy with an operator’s mindset.

Andrew Lesniak, internal communications professional

I’m an internal communications professional with 8+ years of experience spanning employee engagement, multichannel content, project leadership, marketing, and operations.

My background helps me see both sides of the work: the message employees need and the coordination required to deliver it. I’m at my best when a project calls for clear writing, thoughtful design, stakeholder alignment, and dependable execution from concept through launch.

In 2024, colleagues selected me for a companywide Parts Town Core Value Award—recognition that reflects not only the quality of my work, but how I anticipate needs, connect ideas across teams, approach challenges with a can-do mindset, and help colleagues move good ideas into action.
